WHAT WE CAN DO

What property maintenance can include

A homeowner with a list that has been growing since spring. A property manager with three buildings and no one reliable to call. A strata council with a deck that needs looking at before winter. This is the work, one visit or an ongoing contract, and the written scope names exactly what yours includes.

BUILT TO LAST

What you get when DreamPro looks after the building

One number, every trade

A leaking faucet, a tripping breaker, and a rotten fascia board are three trades. At DreamPro they are one call: the crew handles the carpentry and finishing, and licensed plumbers, electricians, and gas fitters handle theirs, on one schedule.

Small repairs before they are big ones

A dripping supply line becomes a flooded cabinet; a lifted shingle becomes a wet ceiling. A standing list and seasonal checks mean the small job gets done the season it appears, not the year after.

Run by the owner

David leads every job in person, with the crew and licensed subtrades behind him: the same people back on the same property, who know where the shutoffs are.

Written, priced, and reported

Each job gets a written scope and price before it starts, and when it is done you hear what was found, what was fixed, and what to watch. A property manager gets a record, not a mystery invoice.

HOW A PROJECT RUNS

Here is exactly what happens after you reach out

  1. Walkthrough

David walks the house or the building with you, takes the list, and looks for what is not on it yet.

  2. Scope and quote

The list settled at the walkthrough, then the scope and price in writing before any work starts.

  3. The work

The list worked through in order, licensed trades on the plumbing, electrical, and gas, and the site tidied every day.

  4. Report and repeat

You hear what was fixed and what to watch; on an ongoing contract, David comes back the next season.

I hired Dave to do a small job on my house replacing some rotted wood trim and fascia boards on my house. He was fast and did an excellent job at a competitive price! Will definitely call him again for any future work I need done and I would highly recommend him!

I have used Dave at Dreampro many times for various repairs at the church I work at. He always does a fantastic job!

Our 40 year old home was in need of an update: painting, shelving in the laundry room, replacement of flooring, new baseboards and new pot lights in the kitchen and family room. We also had some random “handyman” jobs. It all seemed a bit formidable; so we kept putting the project off. Friends (who had just finished an extensive renovation) recommended David. David was friendly and timely with his quote; arranged the sub trades and we were started in a matter of days. He also was able to make some helpful suggestions. We have been more than impressed with the quality of workmanship and David’s diligent overseeing of each part of the project. We are very happy with our “new” living space and would highly recommend David and DreamPro Contracting.

QUESTIONS

The property maintenance questions

Do you take on small jobs?

Yes. A patched wall, a replaced faucet, a stuck door, a cleaned gutter: most maintenance is small jobs, and a list of them makes a good visit. Call with the list and David sets a time to work through it.

Do you offer maintenance contracts for property managers?

Yes. For a property manager or a strata, DreamPro takes on ongoing maintenance as well as one-off repairs. David walks the building first, and what the arrangement covers goes in writing.

Who does the plumbing and electrical work?

Licensed, insured plumbers and electricians, and a licensed gas fitter for anything with gas, under the same scope and schedule as the rest of the job. DreamPro's crew handles the carpentry, drywall, paint, and finishing.

Do you work on strata and multi-unit buildings?

Yes, for the owners who live in them and the managers who run them. The work follows the building's rules for hours, elevators, and notice to residents, and the common areas are protected and cleaned every day.

What warranty comes with the work?

A 2-year workmanship warranty on repairs and installations, plus the manufacturers’ warranties on the fixtures and materials that go in.
