YOUR INFORMATION, AND WHAT WE DO WITH IT
Privacy policy
What we collect when you use this site, what we do with it, who else sees it, and how to ask us about it. Written in plain language.

Who we are
This site, dreamprocontracting.ca, is run by DreamPro Contracting Inc., a general contractor based in South Surrey, British Columbia. For anything in this policy, contact David at dreamproinc@gmail.com or 778-952-4258.
What we collect
What you send us
When you use the quote form, you give us your name, your phone number, and anything else you choose to add: an email address, a budget range, a project type, and a description of the work. The form also records which page of the site you sent it from, so we know which service or area you were reading about. If you call or email instead, we keep what you tell us the same way.
What your browser sends
Like most sites, this one records how it is used: the pages visited, the time spent, the type of device and browser, an approximate location based on your network address, and whether a visit led to a form or a call. This is collected through the tools described below, and we look at it in aggregate, not to follow one person around.
How the quote form works
The form is delivered by Web3Forms, a form-handling service, which sends your submission to our email inbox. Web3Forms processes the submission only to deliver it and is bound by its own privacy policy. The email in our inbox is our record of your inquiry.
Analytics and advertising tools
This site uses Google Tag Manager to load two Google tools:
- Google Analytics 4 measures how the site is used: which pages are read, how people arrive, and whether a visit ends in a quote request or a phone call. It sets cookies and uses identifiers so that repeat visits from the same browser can be counted as one visitor.
- Google Ads conversion tracking records when a visit that started from one of our Google ads leads to a quote request or a call, so we know which ads are worth running. Google Ads and Google Analytics may also use cookies to let Google show our ads to people who have visited this site (remarketing) and measure those ads.
Google receives this information under its own privacy policy and may combine it with data from other sites and services. You can turn off personalized advertising in your Google account's ad settings, install Google's browser add-on that blocks Analytics, or set your browser to refuse cookies; the site works without them.
How we use your information
- To answer your inquiry, arrange a consultation, and prepare a quote.
- To schedule and run the work you hire us for, and to keep in touch about it.
- To keep the records a contracting business has to keep: quotes, contracts, invoices, and permits.
- To see how the site and our advertising are working, and to improve them.
We do not send newsletters or marketing emails unless you ask for them, and we never sell, rent, or trade your information.
Who else sees it
- Service providers that run parts of this site for us: Web3Forms (the form), Google (analytics and advertising, as above), Cloudflare (hosting), and our email provider. Each sees only what it needs to do its job.
- Trades and suppliers working on your project: the licensed subtrades and suppliers we bring in get only the details they need to do their part of the work, such as the address of the job and the scope.
- When the law requires it: to meet a legal obligation, such as a court order or an audit, or to protect the safety of a person or the rights of the business.
Where it is stored
The providers above may store information on servers outside British Columbia, including in the United States, where it is subject to the laws of that place. We choose providers that protect data in transit and at rest, and this site is served over HTTPS.
How long we keep it
Inquiries are kept for as long as they are useful to answer you, and then only as part of the records the law requires a business to keep, such as tax and contract records. Analytics data is kept for the period set in Google Analytics, which we keep at the shortest setting that still lets us see a year of trends.
Your rights
Under British Columbia's Personal Information Protection Act, and where it applies, Canada's Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act, you can ask what personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, and withdraw your consent to our using it, subject to any contract or legal requirement that still applies. Ask by email or phone using the details at the top, and we will answer within the time the law allows. If you are not satisfied with our answer, you can complain to the Office of the Information and Privacy Commissioner for British Columbia.
Security
We protect the information we hold with the ordinary measures a small business can take: encrypted connections, password-protected accounts, and access limited to the people who need it. No method of sending or storing information is completely secure, and we cannot promise otherwise.
Links to other sites
This site links to other sites, such as our Google Business Profile and the social profiles in the footer. Their privacy practices are their own, and this policy does not cover them.
Changes
When this policy changes, the new version is posted here with a new date at the top. Anything that changes how we use information you have already given us will be explained here, not applied quietly.
