How much does a renovation cost?
It depends on the scope, the size of the space, the materials, fixtures, and whether anything structural moves. The space usually needs to be seen in person first to give an accurate estimate, but a written quote is always provided before any work begins. Call 778-952-4258 and David will talk it through with you.
Do I need a building permit?
Often. Additions, structural changes, and most plumbing and electrical work need one; a like-for-like swap usually does not. DreamPro handles the permits and the inspections, and tells you at the walkthrough what your project needs.
How long will my renovation take?
A small job runs days; a full remodel or an addition runs weeks to months. We provide a clear timeline before starting and keep you updated throughout the job.
Will I need to move out?
Typically not necessary, depends on the scope of the job. Give David a call for an answer to your particular project.
Do you offer design help?
Yes. David talks through the layout, the materials, and the fixtures with you at the consultation, and settles them with you before the quote.
Is the quote fixed, or can it change?
The quote is written against a scope. It changes only if you add work or the walls hide something, such as rot or old wiring, and either way you hear about it before anything proceeds.
What warranty do you offer?
A 2-year workmanship warranty on installation, plus the manufacturers’ warranties on the materials, cabinetry, and fixtures you choose.
Do you work with architects and engineers?
Yes. Structural work, additions, and complex renovations are done with licensed architects and structural engineers.
Can you help me choose materials?
Yes. David recommends materials that hold up, and connects you with the suppliers DreamPro uses for cabinetry, flooring, tile, and fixtures.
Where do you work?
DreamPro is based in South Surrey. White Rock, South Surrey, and Langley are home turf, and the work runs across Metro Vancouver and the Fraser Valley.
Are you licensed and insured?
Yes: a licensed general contractor with $5M in general liability insurance and active WorkSafeBC coverage. A letter of insurance is provided with each quote.
Do you take on commercial work?
Yes. Offices, retail, tenant improvements, and ongoing maintenance for property managers, with one number to call.
Do you take urgent calls?
